Outfitters Kaua`i, 2827A Po`ipu Road, Po`ipu, 888-742-9887, 808-742-9667, has a zipline trek that’s good if you’re a beginner or if you’re afraid of heights. You meet at the Outfitters Kaua`i office in Po`ipu and they take you on a van to Kipu Ranch. There, you’re be briefed on safety, you get your gear and you zip about 300 feet, returning to your starting point by going over a wicked little suspension bridge. You’ll do this two more times and then take a hike over to Kipu Falls for swimming and jumping from rope swing. This zipline is fun, but I was expecting more than one zipline and more of an adventure. The three-hour tour costs $115 per person. If you want more of an adventure, try the Kipu Falls Safari Tour, which includes a two-mile kayak ride, hiking and ziplining for $155 per person.
